Aggies Men's Hoops vs. Vanderbilt Commodores: How to Watch, Betting Odds
On the heels of a 27-point performance by Tyrece Radford, the Aggies get ready to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville, Tennessee. Texas A&M beat the No. 6 Tennessee Volunteers 85-69 on Saturday with Radford leading the way.
The Commodores have struggled this season and have won just one game in their last 10 attempts and two of their last 15.
The Aggies are riding a three-game winning streak since a Feb. 3 67-66 tilt over Florida with wins against Missouri and Tennessee.
Wade Taylor IV leads Texas A&M in scoring with 19.9 points, 3.8 assists and 2.2 steals per game. Andersson Garcia leads the team in rebounds at 9.2 and .9 blocks.
For the Commodores, Ezra Manjon leads the team in scoring with 14.3 points and 3.6 assists per game. Tyrin Lawrence pulls down 5.1 rebounds, 1.7 steals and .4 blocks.
Last time out, Radford and Taylor combined for 52 points in the big win over then-No. 6 Tennessee. “We always talk about throwing the first punch, and we were able to do that in both halves tonight,” Taylor said.
The Aggies were just too much for the Vols. “We got ourselves in a hole. ... We just never seemed like we were in sync and playing the way we wanted to play,” Tennessee coach Rick Barnes said.
