When it comes Team USA's senior men's team there has been an obvious decline in performance and participation over the past few showings.

Most recently, Team USA finished fourth place at the FIBA World Cup, with only three NBA All-Stars and no a single player with prior national team experience on the roster.  The team lost to a Lithuania squad without Kristaps Porzingis, and also lost to a Germany team led by NBA role player Dennis Schröder.

With the 2024 Olympics in Paris just around the corner, there have been worries as to how well Team USA will do with countries like France, Canada, Germany, and Australia among others seemingly catching up. Those worries may begin to fade away if Team USA can actually get its best players to want to play, which based on reports could happen with players like LeBron James Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum and Draymond Green all being prepared to commit to play.

Something that Undisputed analyst Richard Sherman thinks is everything that Team USA needs.

America has won the last four Gold Medals, but in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics  and ensuing World Cup it was evident just how closely the other countries across the world are getting to dethroning Team USA.
