Three-Star LB Davin Brewerton Commits to Pitt

The Pitt Panthers earned their 11th commitment in the class of 2024.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers have added another commitment to their 2024 recruiting class this week in three-star linebacker Davin Brewerton.

Brewerton announced on Twitter that he had chosen the Panthers over Syracuse, West Virginia, Maryland, Tulane and others. Penn State, Notre Dame and Duke had shown interest.

Brewerton, a 6'0, 215-pound product of Red Bank Catholic High School in Red Bank, New Jersey, is ranked as high as the No. 23 player in New Jersey and the No. 108 linebacker in the class. He'll be in Pittsburgh in late June for his official visit.

This is the 11th commit for the Panthers to their 2024 recruiting class, which ranks as high as 19th nationally and fifth in the ACC (Rivals and 247Sports). The class is headlined by four-star prospects Jashear Whittington and Ric'Darious "DayDay" Farmer. Brewerton is the first linebacker to commit to the 2024 class.
