Kenny Pickett Predicts Score of Pitt-West Virginia Backyard Brawl

Kenny Pickett expects a dominating win for the Pitt Panthers in their season opener.

PITTSBURGH -- It is officially game week for the Pitt Panthers, who are just four days away from their season opener vs. rival West Virginia. Former Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett admitted that he is jealous of the current Panthers, who get to experience this rivalry firsthand.

After wrapping up his final preseason game of the year for the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium, Pickett said he'd be back later in the week to cheer on his Panthers.

"I can't wait. It'll be an awesome game," Pickett said. "I really wish I had a chance to play in college but I'm excited for these guys to go out there and get after them."

Pickett even offered a score prediction and he expects the No. 17 Panthers to beat the Mountaineers handily.

"Shoutout to Coach Duzz. We'll go 31-10, Pitt."
