With the Oklahoma State Cowboys hosting the Kansas State Wildcats in Boone Pickens Stadium on Friday night, the All Pokes staff made their predictions for the matchup.

Historically, OSU plays well off bye weeks. With the sellout and it being blackout, the Cowboys will come ready to play. With one week under the system, Alan Bowman will be more comfortable with the wide receivers and the offense as a whole. Kansas State's linebacker depth is shot, so OSU could run the ball effectively.

I just think Kansas State's running attack will be too much for the Cowboys. The Wildcats are 25th in the country in rushing offense and 30th in red zone offense. The run game will then open up the passing game for Will Howard. It will just be too much for OSU to stop. Give me the Wildcats on Friday.

I don’t think that Oklahoma State can win up front. Kansas State will likely dominate in the run game, but Oklahoma State won’t be able to protect the QB. OSU has a few explosive plays to put them on the board early though.

Kansas State has shown its ability to put up points and play at a high level this season. Oklahoma State has not. The Cowboys stumble into the matchup after two disappointing losses and desperately need to turn their season around. But the Wildcats, also coming off a bye week, will not help that cause. Even a blackout under the lights at Boone Pickens Stadium will not be enough to turn things around for OSU.

This game could be lopsided in favor of the Wildcats, but I'm leaning on Oklahoma State's ability to create big plays to keep this one within arm's reach, though they'll still come up with a loss.
