The Oklahoma State Cowboys are gearing up for a Saturday afternoon battle against the No. 23 team in the country the Kansas Jayhawks in an attempt to snag another quality Big 12 upset win.

Here's how the All Pokes staff predicted the Oklahoma State vs. Kansas matchup.

Ivan White (@ivanbball13)

The Jayhawks will come to Stillwater looking to earn bowl eligibility against the Cowboys like they did last season. As great as OSU played last week, a letdown is probably in store.

The Cowboys will keep this one close, but the offensive issues will eventually catch up with them. Even with the uncertainty around KU’s quarterback situation, the run game will help get them to 6-1.

Oklahoma State has got to establish a run game in this one. When the Cowboys have that running attack, no one can stop them. Bowman will get more opportunities to throw down the field if that running attack gets going. Look for guys like Brennan Presley and Jaden Bray to step up and make big-time catches for the Cowboys.

Kansas has a good running game as well, for it is ranked sixth in the country in rushing offense. I just think with Daniels being uncertain about this game, OSU has had time to prepare for Jason Bean. I think Nick Martin and Xavier Benson will have a big day in stopping the run as well.

Without Jalen Daniels, I don’t think the Kansas offense operates anywhere near its full potential. I like what OSU brings to the table offensively to exploit some of the Jayhawks’ weaknesses.

With the Jayhawks being short of Jalon Daniels, this game is destined to be close. A Big 12 battle in Stillwater, this game will be no rollover for No. 23 Kansas, as Oklahoma State will fight until this one is over.

Alan Bowman and Ollie Gordon have what it takes to ensure this one is close and give the Jayhawks a run for their money but will ultimately fall short by a field goal.
