Louisville Lands Commitment From '25 WR Jordan Allen
The wide receiver is the fifth commitment in the Class of 2025 for the Cardinals.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville football program's recruiting efforts in the Class of 2025 are starting to pick up steam.
Buford (Ga.) HS wide receiver Jordan Allen, one of Louisville's top targets in the 2025 cycle, announced Tuesday that he has committed to the Cardinals. He chose them over held offers from Georgia, Michigan, Clemson, Florida, Tennessee and others.
Allen was established a long term target by head coach Jeff Brohm and his staff last summer, offering him a scholarship in June. Allen also made a visit to Louisville this past January.
The 5-foot-8, 170-pound speedster, as you can tell by his offer sheet, is a quality pickup for the Cardinals. he ranks as high as the No. 25 ATH in the cycle and 48th-ranked prospect in the talent-rich state of Georgia, according to Rivals. The 247Sports Composite tabs him as the No. 689 recruit in the Class of 2025.
During his junior year at Buford, Allen caught 35 passes for 588 yards and two touchdowns, while also returning 21 punts for 168 yards. A dual-sport athlete who also participates in track and field, he posted a 10.98 time in the 100-meter dash and a 22.59 in the 200-meter dash as a sophomore.
Allen is now the fifth commitment in Louisville's 2025 recruiting class. He joins Oxford (Ala.) HS quarterback Mason Mims, Goshen (Ky.) North Oldham lineman Gradey Anthony, Westerville (Oh.) North offensive lineman Jake Cook and Union (Ky.) Ryle defensive end Dillon Smith.
