Levi Archer, LB, Kansas State

Kansas State has a long lineage of producing high quality linebackers - is freshman Levi Archer next?

Freshman Levi Archer for Goodland, KS was a high school quarterback who has converted to linebacker in Manhattan.

And, as that conversion might suggest, he's a pretty good athlete:

KState Sports Bio says of Archer: "A four-year letterwinner at Goodland, including the final year under head coach Chase Topliff... Picked up 2017 honorable mention all-state honors from the Topeka Capital-Journal and Wichita Eagle... Earned all-league honors on two occasions... Threw for over 4,800 yards with 40 touchdowns in his career while rushing for 1,300 yards with 22 scores... Also played on defense as he registered 91 career tackles and two interceptions... Lettered four years in basketball and two years in baseball, earning all-league honors in both, while he was the conference champion in javelin as a junior."
