It has already been an interesting year for Kentucky.

The No. 16 Wildcats have shown they can compete with anyone, such as going down to the wire No. Kansas and picking up a convincing win over No. 8 Miami.

The Wildcats have also shown areas of weakness. Those were put on display in the loss to UNC Wilmington.

What stats have had the biggest influence on Kentucky's season so far?

Scoring Offense

Kentucky is currently No. 5 in the country in scoring offense. The Wildcats are averaging 91.8 points per game. This mark has them 3.6 points away from James Madison who currently holds the top spot at 95.4 points per game.

Rebounding

Kentucky has been struggling to get rebounds so far this season.

The Wildcats are currently tied for No. 152 in the country in team rebounding, averaging 37.38 per game.

Kentucky's leading rebounder is sophomore guard Adou Thiero. He is averaging seven rebounds per game which has him tied for No. 212 nationally.

The Wildcats need to find a way to improve their performance on the boards.

Assist/Turnover Ratio

Assist/Turnover ratio has been one of Kentucky's biggest strengths so far this season.

The Wildcats has recorded 160 assists while only turning the ball over 70 times which puts the ratio at 2.29. This is the best mark in the country.

Taking care of the basketball is an important thing for a team to be good at and Kentucky has done that so far this season.
