Deion Sanders Promotes Former SWAC Head Coach
Former Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders recruited Vincent Dancy to join his staff in Colorado after five seasons as the Mississippi Valley State football program's leader. "This guy is one of the smartest guys on the staff," Sanders said. "He just needed opportunity, and guess what happened? He got opportunity."

Dancy served as the Buffaloes' quality control analyst during his first season in Boulder, CO. On Tuesday, Coach Prime told the media Dancy would receive a promotion to outside linebackers coach, per Tolly Carr of Thee PreGame Show.
Before he resigned from the Delta Devils football program, Vincent Dancy was considered one of the rising stars in the Southwestern Athletic Conference's coaching ranks. His head coaching record at MVSU was 10-38 and 8-26 in the SWAC.
