TRANSFER PORTAL: Marshall CB Dyoni Hill On The Move

After spending two seasons with the Marshall Thundering Herd, cornerback Dyoni Hill is entering the transfer portal. In 2023, Hill had 55 total tackles, 34 solo tackles, 21 assisted tackles and one interception. Hill enters the portal with two years of eligibility remaining.

Standing at 6’0”, 172 pounds, Hill should receive some interest from Power Four schools. Gaby Urrutia of 247Sports notes that Hill could be a notable name for Miami, given their need for corners.

In 2023, Hill ranked eighth amongst the Sun Belt Conference in passes defended. The next step for the soon-to-be junior cornerback is to begin turning those defended passes into interceptions.

Coming out of high school, Hill was a three-star recruit from Gainesville, Florida, playing at Gainesville High. He had eight DI offers and ended up going with Marshall. The only school in his state that offered at the time was FIU.
