Now in his tenth season as the head coach of the Kennesaw State Owls, Brian Bohannon faces his toughest task yet.

The Owls are on the verge of their first season in FBS and their first as members of Conference USA. This spring gives the Owls an opportunity to assess how ready they are for the transition. The Owls are coming off of two-consecutive losing seasons at the FCS level. However, they've been widely recognized as college football's best "startup" after launching the program in 2015 and winning three Big South championships in 2017, 2018, and 2021.

Fortunately for them, they bring the program's highest-rated recruiting class into this season, including South Carolina transfer defensive lineman Donovan Westmoreland.

Kennesaw State's regular season is set to begin on August 31 on the road at American Athletic Conference foe UTSA.
