Saint Mary's (14-6, 5-0 WCC) enters this game on the heels of a WCC-leading six-game winning streak. The Gaels have been red-hot as of late and are now 12-1 in their last 13 games.
They have been a defensive nightmare for opponents this season, allowing a conference-best 58.7 ppg.
Sophomore Aidan Mahaney has been their biggest threat on offense, scoring 14.7 ppg (eighth in the WCC).
Saint Mary's has yet to crack the Top 25, but the Gaels could be getting close as they received votes this week in both the AP Top 25 as well as the Coaches Poll.
Pacific (6-15, 0-5 WCC) sits on the opposite end of the spectrum from St. Mary's.
The Tigers are the only WCC team yet to win a conference game and they come into Thursday's matchup riding their second five-game losing streak of the season.
Most recently, they suffered an 88-69 loss to Santa Clara, but that game saw sophomore Moe Odum turn in a season-high 21 points.
Odum has been one of the bright spots for Pacific this year. He is currently second in the conference in both assists (4.8 apg) and assist/turnover ratio (2.6).
