Former Georgia Tech Commit Duke Watson Commits To Louisville

Watson is a four-star running back in the 2024 class

One former Georgia Tech commit has found his new school.

Duke Watson (Forsyth, GA) committed to the Yellow Jackets in March but de-committed in May after taking visits elsewhere. One month later, he has found his destination and it will be playing for Jeff Brohm at Louisville.

Watson is rated as a four-star player in the 247Sports Composite. He is the No. 429 player in the country and the No. 37 running back. As a junior, averaged 8.3 yards per carry, totaling 1,669 yards and 14 TD on the ground in 11 games. Also caught 17 passes for 184 yards and 2 TD. Helped Mary Parsons go 6-5 in Georgia’s AAA classification (stats courtesy of 247Sports director of scouting Andrew Ivins).
