FSU Football Has Six of ESPN's Top 100 Players
Florida State is bound to have an impressive season one way or another. The team is full of NFL-level talent and is returning a good portion of a team that went 10-3 a season ago.
With so many high-level players returning, FSU has six representatives on ESPN's top 100 list, including two top-ten players.
Here's the order of Seminoles on the list:
8 - Jordan Travis
9 - Jared Verse
61- Johnny Wilson
65 - Fentrell Cypress
69 - Trey Benson

Part of the reason the Seminoles are projected to be so good is that on top of returners developing from the team's 10-3 season, their transfers are expected to be this impactful and good. Mike Norvell's success in the transfer portal was already known, but having two transfers land on this list further proves that.
Both Travis and Verse land in the top ten, and both players were mocked to land in the top 15 picks of the NFL Draft for next season. They're clearly premiere college football talents and will set the standard for the team this season.
Wilson, Benson and Coleman are all threats for the Seminoles offense, and each of those players will make Travis even better and his job much easier. This list doesn't even have Jaheim Bell, who will be a force and another weapon for Travis.
Considering where Florida State was at the beginning of Norvell's tenure with the team, it's incredible to see how far he has come in his short time with the opportunity to transform the franchise.
While landing at No. 8 in the preseason AP Poll, high-level football is expected to come in Tallahassee and pressure is mounting for an incredible season.
