Deion Sanders voices his frustration over late-game heroics following ASU win

The Colorado Buffaloes picked up a nail-biting victory over the Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday. It was another series of late-game heroics with Shedeur Sanders needing less than a minute to work down the field on the game-winning drive. His pops wasn't happy with his team after the win. 

Deion Sanders voiced his frustration over the performance, showing a bit of his temper during his postgame press conference at Arizona State.

"I apologize for my anger today, but I don’t expect mediocrity," Sanders said. 

Coach Prime's team survived another one, and that wasn't part of the game plan. Colorado went up by a score with four minutes left before allowing a 94-yard touchdown drive from Arizona State to tie the game in the final minute.

Sanders needed to vent when he said he was "sick of it." The fourth win of the season for the Buffs wasn't pretty, especially after allowing ASU to hang around, but it's still another one in the books. This has been a rollercoaster ride for Coach Prime with twists and turns without a smooth path to the end. His team nearly completed a rally from a 27-point deficit against USC, which nobody expected.  

The Buffaloes have been an outstanding second-half team with four wins. The only contest that wasn't hard-fought until the end was at home against Nebraska. Sanders hopes CU can start fast and finish strong in the final six games of the regular season. He praised Shedeur Sanders' heroics in the win. 

The "Grown" Colorado QB played another mistake-free game, adding to his impressive season with 2,020 yards, 19 total touchdowns, and two INTs. 

Colorado returns home to face Stanford on Friday, Oct. 13. The Buffaloes are early 9.5-point favorites over the Cardinal.
