Joe Namath, Lee Corso, and Pat McAfee pick Cal over Auburn on ESPN College GameDay

ESPN’s College GameDay picks Cal over Auburn in Saturday’s contest.

The picks have come in from ESPN’s College GameDay announcers, and they are low on Auburn. With Joe Namath as a guest picker today, he alongside Pat McAfee and Lee Corso are high on the Cal Golden Bears to win their home game matchup against our Auburn Tigers.

Considering that Lee Corso picked North Texas over Cal last week in his Superdog pick and failed miserably, this pick may bode well for the Auburn Tigers.

Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard were the only ones bold enough to pick Auburn over Cal in this week’s historic matchup, believing that the travel and late kickoff will not play as big of a role as it has been projected to.

The betting projection still sways in Auburn’s favor at -5.5 for the win over Cal. This will surely prove to be a tough road test for our Auburn Tigers in which the run defense will need to be in top gear. Be sure to tune in Saturday night at 9:30 pm CT to see how the contest plays out against the Cal Golden Bears in Memorial Stadium.
