The Tigers are fighting, tied 10-all against the top-ranked Bulldogs at halftime.

The 2:30pm CT kickoff has come and gone for the 2023 seasons “Deep Souths Oldest Rivalry” game with the Auburn Tigers taking on the Georgia Bulldogs considering Auburn is coming off a loss to Texas A&M in their SEC season opener last Saturday, how have they responded to the challenge at Jordan-Hare?

- The Tigers lead the Bulldogs 10-0 at the end of the 1st quarter of play.

- Georgia came out more explosive to begin the 2nd quarter with more powerful rushing attack. Marching the football down the field to the tune of a rushing touchdown.

- Auburn needs to tighten up their run defense as they head into the 2nd half. Georgia has opened the run game allowing for Carson Beck to feel more comfortable in throwing the ball.

- Georgia tied the game up with a field goal with 6 minutes left in the 1st half.

- Brian Battie comes up big on special teams late in the 2nd quarter to set up the Tigers with excellent field position going into the drive.

- Battie continued his solid performance to help set Auburn up with even better field position with his solid rushing performance.

The Auburn Tigers have come to play in front of the home crowd, looking to have addressed multiple issues that have plagued both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. They have shown the Bulldogs that they are going to have to truly earn their win at Jordan-Hare if they can.
