Auburn announces sold-out crowd for season opener vs UMass Minutemen

Excitement and optimism surround the Auburn Football program with a sold-out crowd on September 2nd.

With the recent news of Auburn breaking a season ticket holder record by selling out of season tickets this July, even more excitement is surrounding the inaugural game to begin Coach Hugh Freeze’s tenure on the plains.

The UMass Minutemen will not only have to deal with the talents of our Auburn Tiger football team at Jordan-Hare, but they will also have to deal with the deafening atmosphere of a completely sold-out stadium.

Although the Tigers are coming off a lackluster season in 2022, Coach Freeze & Co. have managed to re-ignite the Auburn fan base with some incredible recruiting and re-structuring across the entire roster. Needless to say, the fans are responding with their pocketbooks by selling out Jordan-Hare so quickly.

This sold-out crowd will add an additional element to the game that has been missing the past two seasons on the plains, which bodes well for the new coaching staff and players alike. With the sell-out for season tickets, it looks as though multiple teams will have to game plan for a rowdy and eardrum busting crowd this season, and I genuinely can’t wait to see all the love and support for our Auburn Tigers being poured out across the plains this season. War Eagle everyone.
