Austin Keys and Nick Mardner will not be playing against Cal due to injury
Heading into the first road test for the Auburn Tigers against the Cal Golden Bears, who will be suiting up to play and who will be providing support from the sidelines?
Earlier this week the Auburn fanbase received some sobering injury news from Coach Hugh Freeze regarding breakout transfer linebacker Austin Keys. Keys sustained a significant thumb injury during the game against the UMass Minutemen last Saturday at Jordan-Hare.
Keys has since undergone surgery and the talented junior linebacker will be out for the foreseeable future while he heals. Other than this notable injury who else will not be suiting up for the Auburn Tigers during the contest against Cal Golden Bears?
Offense:
- #8 Nick Mardner WR: Undisclosed Injury
Defense:
- #1 Nehemiah Pritchett CB: Questionable (Game time Decision)
Pritchett is warming up before kickoff.
- #6 Austin Keys LB: Thumb Injury (Required Surgery)
You can catch the game Saturday evening at 9:30 CT on ESPN.
