Auburn vs Texas A&M injury update: Tigers should have healthy roster vs Aggies

Will the Tigers being healthy help to sway the game against the Aggies at Kyle Field?

Despite Auburn’s roster being relatively banged up after the completion of the Samford game this past Saturday, the Tiger’s training staff have performed some astonishing work to get the guys ready for their week four road test against Texas A&M.

This great effort has helped to allow the Tiger’s to field the healthiest team thus far this season to compete in Saturday’s morning match up against the Aggies on the road.

While the team looks to be roughly 95-percent healthy there will still be two notable absences when the Tigers suit up that morning. Two defensive starters will not be able to play this week.

Offense:

Offensive lineman Kam Stutts should play today despite injury concerns earlier in the week. Izavion Miller is also warming up pregame.

Tight end Luke Deal, receiver Ja'Varrius Johnson and running back Jarquez Hunter are all warming up.

Defense:

Keionte Scott: Junior cornerback is out indefinitely due to an ankle injury that required surgery.

Austin Keys: Junior linebacker is out indefinitely due to a thumb injury that required surgery.

Donovan Kaufman has returned from injury and should play.

JACK Jalen McLeod is warming up.

There are now no other players on the roster that we are aware of suffering from any game preventing injuries.

Be sure to tune in to ESPN Saturday morning at 11:00am CT to catch your Auburn Tigers face off against the Texas A&M Aggies in Kyle Field for their 2023 SEC opener.
