Kirk Herbstreit and Reece Davis talk the “Deep South's Oldest Rivalry” on ESPN College GameDay

Does Georgia’s slow-starting offense give Auburn a chance to shock the College Football World?

ESPN’s College GameDay briefly spoke on the “Deep South's Oldest Rivalry” with Georgia playing Auburn on Saturday at Jordan-Hare at 2:30 pm CT. This was a tale of two somewhat differing opinions of the game’s possible outcome.

Reece Davis spoke candidly about the battle between Georgia, and Auburn.

"Ten years ago, this happened on 4th and 18, ‘The Prayer at Jordan-Hare’ and that is the type of sorcery Auburn is going to need to beat Georgia,” Davis said.

Kirk Herbstreit had a slightly different opinion.

“I still feel like Georgia much like Michigan is still trying to things going offensively, and this is not a game, anytime you’re on the road in the SEC against an athletic defense like Auburn has you don’t want to start slow,” Herbstreit stated about Saturday's SEC action.
