Takeaways from Auburn's loss to Arkansas in the SEC tournament

The Auburn Tigers took on the Arkansas Razorbacks Thursday night in Nashville. The Razorbacks came out hot and shot the ball well. Auburn did some good things, but really got hurt on the boards. They took the lead with a few seconds left, but ultimately lost. Here are a few takeaways from todays game.
Arkansas wanted this one more
The Razorbacks were playing for their season tonight. A loss would mean it was all over for them. They really need another win over a hot A&M team to have a shot at making the NCAA Tournament. It’s been a rough season for them, but they were the aggressors tonight, and they kept their season alive.
Getting back on defense
Keeping with the theme, the Tigers looked lackadaisical at times tonight. The sense of urgency was lacking, and they struggled to get back on defense. They were also sorely out of rebounding position pretty often. This team is good enough to beat anyone, but they need to be the ones out hustling people.
Shooting percentages
The Tigers have shot the three ball better lately. They shot 30% on their first 13 three point attempts. This is a serviceable number, but will need to be higher for Auburn to make a good tournament run. They shot 45% on their first 43 shots tonight. KD Johnson really had a great night and led the team in scoring. Allen Flanigan and Johni Broome also had good nights on offense.
