IMG Academy offensive tackle Breck Kolojay is quickly becoming a national name. There are 21 months between now and early national signing day for the 2026 class, but programs are already making him feel like a priority. Tennessee is one of those programs; the Vols were his tenth offer, and he made his first trip to campus this past weekend.
Kolojay had already heard positive things about the Vols from a friend. He is a Colorado native who played his freshman season of high school football at Valor Christian. Kolojay developed a friendship with a Colorado native who ultimately signed with Tennessee, 2024 offensive lineman Gage Ginther. "He's told me great things," Kolojay told Volunteer Country. "So I definitely wanted to see him and get down to campus to connect with the coaches. I had a really great time."
Kolojay reports offers from 19 programs, including Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas. Many of those offers came after his breakout sophomore season at IMG, where he was recognized as a MaxPreps Sophomore All-American. While Kolojay appreciates the recent attention from top programs, it does mean something to him that Tennessee believed in him early. "That means a lot to me because they've known me since I was a freshman in high school," Kolojay beamed. "That gave me an interest in them early, and now I have a very high interest in them after my visit."
Tennessee's offensive line staff has been making him feel like a major priority early. "Coach [Glen] Elarbee, Coach Kevin Pendleton, and Coach [Chris] Labidou. They've been on my butt trying to get me out there, and they're great people," Kolojay explained. "I love talking to them."
Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel has also made an early impression on Kolojay early in the process. "He's just a great guy. He came down to visit me at IMG, and then after the visit, we went to his house. We got to barbeque, meet his family - I just love the realness of it."
